Taylor Collins, CLU RHU CEBS
Taylor Collins CLU, RHU, CEBS has been the Owner and President of Professional Benefits since 2019 and has been with the company since 2007. She has a track record of improving the brokerage by leveraging technology.
She is one of the youngest females to achieve the Chartered Life Underwriter designation (CLU). She also holds the Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) and Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation from the Wharton School of Business and ICEBS Foundation.
As well as managing the group benefits side of the business, Taylor is focused on Executive Benefits and maintains relationships with two Lloyds cover holders after working for Glencairn Ltd (now Willis) in London with Lloyds of London. This allows her ability to cover much broader risks.
She is passionate about supporting the future of her industry by helping fund and facilitate scholarships for Risk Management/Insurance students at either State College of Florida OR University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee campus. Taylor also attends lobbying efforts in Tallahassee and Washington D.C. regularly including drafting her own bill which is now Florida Statute 627.4555.
As a Sarasota native, Taylor is focused on growing her community. She continues her family's legacy of supporting the Sarasota Memorial Healthcare System EXCEL Employee Appreciation program after 40+ years, helped facilitate a food pantry for the FSU College of Medicine PA & Medical Students, as well as serving as Chair of the Financial Advisory Committee (FAC) for the Sarasota County School Board to oversee the Millage and Surplus Budgets.
Stevan Collins, CLU CEBS
Stevan Collins CLU, CEBS is an Executive Benefits Consultant at Professional Benefits and works closely with physicians, executives, and other high earning individuals for their insurance needs. His specialty is customizing insurance to the client, which often includes discussions beyond traditional insurance uses, including charitable and legacy planning. He has been responsible for not only enhancing our back-office functions but also introducing customized web-enrollment solutions for when insurance companies do not provide their own.
He firmly believes in continuous education and holds the Chartered Life Underwriter and his Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designations.
Prior to joining PBI he held several leadership positions in engineering and supply chain at PGT Innovations in Nokomis, FL. Prior to moving to Sarasota, Florida he worked on the railroad in England, leading teams of engineers responsible for producing training simulators and other railway IT solutions.
The common theme throughout his career is that he is always pushing the boundaries of what is possible to deliver value to the client (internal or external).
He is also passionate about giving back and is involved in several organizations. He is the treasurer for the Charitable Gift Planners of Southwest Florida, Vice President of the Sarasota British Club and on the Florida board for the National Association of Benefits & Insurance Professionals.
